Just in the Nick of Time

I just finished this bag for the Amy Butler Sew Inspiring Contest.  The cut off for entries is February 29.  Whew!  Just made it.

I used one of my favorite vintage mid century barkcloth fabrics.

I took Amy’s Kimberly Bag pattern and modified the size of it.

The reverse side is a different placement of the fabric pattern.

I love how this zebra print cotton coordinates with the barkcloth.

It’s loaded up and ready to hit the road tomorrow!

  4. That is a truly awesome bag, Suzy! I like also that you didn’t use Amy’s fabric as a lot did. I think that barkcloth fabric is the best. I hope you win!
