I think even the ceiling was wall papered green. Oh my lord! And for 1/2 a mil. No wonder I am on a house buying strike. My last house was a fixer-upper which I redid on my own, and I thought it’s wall paper was bad, but this wins it all!
This is pretty ugly. The hideous colors and dated accoutrements, but you have to use your imagination. The bones for a good kitchen are there, just needs to be gutted and redone into the kitchen of your dreams. It’s a great size with lots of room, good outdoor lighting from the skylight. You wouldn’t have to change any walls. It’s a very do-able project. What I don’t understand is over the old wooden doors what looks like vertical painted logs?
Did you check out the fake log cabin look on all the rest of the walls in the house? Unbelieveable, I have never seen anything like it. Love your blog, I am usually just a lurker but had to comment on that awful house.
Oh yea, the new owner of this one will definitely get a TV make-over. Guaranteed! Holly Wood is calling for sure!!!!! Did you look at the rest of the house too?

I canNOT beLIEVE this room! It hurts my eyes just to look at it on the computer. I can’t imagine walking into that kitchen!! I can’t imagine WANTING to cook in there!
