We Sale’d through the Tree Streets

This weekend it all came together and both my sisters and I were able to travel to East Tennessee to our mother's house.  We had a wonderful visit and the highlight was attending the annual "Tree Streets Yard Sales".  I first attended this large and infamous neighborhood sale last year and blogged about all my booty.

This year my sisters came with and we three had a great time treasure hunting together.

The "Tree Streets" is a wonderful historic neighborhood next to the University (ETSU) in Johnson City, TN.   Lots and lots of beautiful old historic homes, beautiful gardens and loads of yard sales!

My sisters had smiles on their faces as we cruised the neighborhood.

I snapped several  pictures of lovely homes along the way.

I didn't get as much booty as last year but I found a few things that I will share as soon as I get home and photograph it all.

But I didn't go home with any of this.  Ewwwwwwwww!

After the yard sale we visited all three of the fabulous quilt shops that are in the area.  In Jonesboro I walked in the door and saw all this fabulousness from Heather Bailey.

I'm definitely bringing some of this home with me.

  1. Sounds like you had a fun weekend!
I can’t wait to see what goodies you found.
Hubby and I took a little road trip this weekend, too. We headed west into Indiana and stumbled across a few historic towns and antique shows. (Always a nice surprise)
Oh, and LOVE those fabrics! I’d have a hard time choosing.
