My mother has a tote bag made of this material, and it’s sturdier than you’d think. She bought it in Germany a couple of years ago, so I don’t know if cork fabric is just new to the U.S.? Neat stuff, though! The vendor she bought her bag from had purses, a hat, flower-shaped brooches, and an apron on display. I don’t know about the functionality of the apron, but the others were darling.
