Invasion of the Dress Forms

It's true, the stars and the planets and the junk have all aligned.  Dress forms are popping out of the woodwork, the closets and the barns.  They have become a hot ticket and expensive collectible over the past few years so if you catch one at a decent price, lucky you.  But take my advice and have a look around.  There seems to be some serious dress form mojo in the atmosphere right now and I don't know how long it is going to last.

Over at Vintage Rescue Squad Sue found her second lovely 'hussy' on her way home from the Art & Soul Retreat where she was my next door booth neighbor at Vendor Night.

Another lovely lady was just found over at Vintage Junk in My Trunk and she is a beauty.

I've never seen such a buxom and voluptuous siren as the dress form found over at Gypsy Brocante.  Check out that booty!

Master American Picker Mike Wolfe just found two lovely old ladies.  Swoon.

Apparently, according to the pickin' gods there must be a dress form hanging around Hampton somewhere just waiting for me to find her.  All it took was a quick peek at Craigs List and there she was, just a short jog through the HRBridgeTunnel to Norfolk.

She's not so vintage but she's got the look.  Astoundingly cheap too, given that old and new dress forms have become a must have item these past few years.

  1. AWESOME! Not to mention all your mini dressforms (though they’re flying out of your shop, right)? Thanks for the shoutout! XOX

  2. I love the rolling base on this one. That part does look kind of vintage so maybe this gal is “married up”.

  3. Suzi, you are so right! I just found although I’ve had two for many years and sold off a few many years before that, I haven’t been able to find any really affordable ones in the past couple years to make a threesome. Then, voila, unexpectedly stopped at a yard sale the other day and picked up another girl and am planning to post her soon.
Miss Mustard Seed also found an AWESOME one at the Market she sold at but I think she may have paid a lotta bit more than mine for $20. But, it is quite awesome.
