Where Bloggers Create Blog Party

I was invited by Karen over at My Desert Cottage to join in the

Where Bloggers Create blog party.

Go over to Karen's place and you can find links to many, many wonderful bloggers special creating spaces.

I actually have two crafting/sewing spaces in my home.  One is my sewing studio and the other is an area in my media room where I do all my christmas crafting.

I have bragged many times about my new sewing studio.  I went into nauseating detail last year about moving it from the third floor windowless room down the the second floor of my house to a room filled with natural light.  A quick search of "sewing studio" in the search bar will yield many, many posts about it.

But it's been a year now and the room has continued to evolve or I should more correctly state, fill up with more stuff :->

So I snapped a bunch of new pictures to share here.  You can pop over to Karen's place to hook up with lots of bloggers and see their creative spaces too.

Enjoy the tour.

Every sewing room needs a toy sewing machine collection.

My christmas crafting has become such a big part of what I enjoy doing that I have had to appropriate a corner of my media room for full time storage and crafting space for my wreaths.

As you can see, I really have to spread out when I am creating wreaths.

Each wreath takes 80-100 ornaments to complete so it takes a lot of inventory to be able to make just a few of them.  I am constantly shopping for vintage christmas treasures to include in them.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing my favorite spaces in my home.

  2. Always love looking at your studio and how lucky you are to move to a bigger spot. (I fantasize about knocking out a garage wall and expanding into it…really I should just de-clutter). Love the Georgia On My Mind sign…

I love fabric and just went through and got rid of some scraps and samples that I had forever. I wish I had your room for it all! I want your pink chair, too! : ) Thanks so much for sharing your creative space; it’s just beautiful.
