I was invited by Karen over at My Desert Cottage to join in the
Where Bloggers Create blog party.
Go over to Karen's place and you can find links to many, many wonderful bloggers special creating spaces.
I actually have two crafting/sewing spaces in my home. One is my sewing studio and the other is an area in my media room where I do all my christmas crafting.
I have bragged many times about my new sewing studio. I went into nauseating detail last year about moving it from the third floor windowless room down the the second floor of my house to a room filled with natural light. A quick search of "sewing studio" in the search bar will yield many, many posts about it.
But it's been a year now and the room has continued to evolve or I should more correctly state, fill up with more stuff :->
So I snapped a bunch of new pictures to share here. You can pop over to Karen's place to hook up with lots of bloggers and see their creative spaces too.
Enjoy the tour.
This is the sewing corner.
I have special creations in this cabinet and on these walls.
Every sewing room needs a toy sewing machine collection.
If you want to know how I created this fabric storage/cutting table, read about it here.
My christmas crafting has become such a big part of what I enjoy doing that I have had to appropriate a corner of my media room for full time storage and crafting space for my wreaths.
As you can see, I really have to spread out when I am creating wreaths.
Each wreath takes 80-100 ornaments to complete so it takes a lot of inventory to be able to make just a few of them. I am constantly shopping for vintage christmas treasures to include in them.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my favorite spaces in my home.
Your room is just filled with delightful inspiration and a flood of light. I love it and I’m sure it is a joy to work in there! I cannot imagine how you find enough ornaments to make all those wreaths – wowza!

Always love looking at your studio and how lucky you are to move to a bigger spot. (I fantasize about knocking out a garage wall and expanding into it…really I should just de-clutter). Love the Georgia On My Mind sign…

I was hoping you’d be at this party. I absolutely am in love with all the vintage stuff you have in your space. The tiny sewing machines are adorable. The 1 that I have is one of my treasures. Your pink desk is so cute. I love it all. Can I come play?

Oh my gosh! Love it, love it, love it! This is such a great space, light AND colorful. Love your sewing corner and then to see all that fabric in your cutting table ~ I could faint. I love fabric and just went through and got rid of some scraps and samples that I had forever. I wish I had your room for it all! I want your pink chair, too! : ) Thanks so much for sharing your creative space; it’s just beautiful.
