Yes, I'm quoting Martha today and I'm talking about my new stick vacuum. 

This is such a great product I have to share.  Anytime I find something that will make my life easier, then I'm worth it.  No kick backs here, just my honest opinion.

It's the  Makita BCL180W 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Vacuum Kit.  I'm familiar with Makita tools, MrPeachez has a few of them.   I had read that the lithium-ion batteries are a huge improvement in the rechargeable battery arena.  A great feature here is that this battery is interchangeable with all Makita tools.

Since my previous stick vac had bitten the dust and I now have all hardwood floors on my first level, it was time to find a new one.

I've been using this for about a week now and I love it.  I've moved the big vacuum up to the carpeted second floor and it will stay there.  No need to bring it down again, this little baby can handle the first floor all on it's own. 

It's so easy to grab and go, it maneuvers easily around furniture.  No need to pull out chairs, just zips around them.

Cleaning my house just got easier, hooray.  Definitely, it's a good thing.
