I almost blew off the yard sales yesterday.  I don't go every weekend but there was a neighborhood sale happening in a hood that I knew to be full of brick mid century ranches.  Neighborhoods like that around here tend to have a generous population of retired folks, so I was hoping the selection would be interesting.

Straight out of the Prius I scored vintage xmas.  Then down the road I scored even more.  Now, it wasn't a particularly large haul, but by garage sale standards it was more than decent.

I especially love the collection of blown glass ornaments.  They all retain the original stickers which tells me they are from West Germany and are Resl Lenz.

They have gold foil and bead designs that dangle and twirl inside them.

Very sweet.
