I’m getting some things ready for my Etsy shop grand opening this Sunday. Beth and I are planning a tandem grand opening of our first ever offerings on Etsy. To celebrate we are each hosting a Vintage Sewing giveaway. You can leave a comment on this entry to put your name in the hat for my giveaway. Jump over to Beth’s blog and leave a comment for her to register for her giveaway.
Here is a sneak peek of my offerings for Etsy.
I’ll be listing my scrap bag aprons and some of my purses made from vintage fabrics.
This week the mailman arrived with my Bits & Pieces collage that was made for me by my swap partner Beth Quinn. It is really divine and it is hanging in my sewing studio already!
This week a dear friend from New Jersey joined the blogging ranks. She is a creative fountain, an avid collector, loves yard sales and thrifting and just a super gal. Her name is Susan and her blog is called Black Eyed Susan’s Kitchen. I first met Susan when she was running her store in Fair Haven, NJ. It was the most divine place on earth, chock full of vintage treasures and collectibles as well as the most unique crafts and goodies. Here is a picture of her store front window, doesn’t it just scream cute!
So I better get off this computer and back upstairs to my sewing studio and get some more stuff made for Etsy. Beth already has a ton of goodies ready for her shop and I am way behind. Working at my real job gets in the way, darn it! If only those bills would just pay themselves then I could create all day long!
