Thursday night past was the 4th annual Girls Bingo/Raffle event to benefit the Strong Communities Program at the Hampton YMCA.

I am a new member of the Board of Directors at the YMCA this year.  I was recruited to the board by fellow board member and friend Kelly O’Neill.

This year’s Bingo/Raffle event was a huge success, all thanks to Kelly and the other YMCA staff members and volunteers.

This is a ladies only event and ticket sales raised over $10K for the YMCA.

Every one that attends goes home with a raffle gift and 4 lucky BINGO winners take home a basket of incredible prizes.  Even the table decorations get raffled off!

It is a wonderful event, masterminded by Kelly.  For the past two years it has been held at the Virginia Air & Space Museum in downtown Hampton.

Due to Kelly’s hard work and the hard work of many volunteers and the incredible staff at the YMCA, donations from businesses and artists around the area make the giveaways (well over 200) INCREDIBLE!

The ladies here in Hampton really do it up right.  We love our YMCA and all that it does for our community!!
